Bandit Terrorist Demand tax  from Muslim Villagers in Sokoto.

Armed bandits in Sokoto State have allegedly demanded a ₦15 million levy from villagers in Yabo Local Government Area, warning they will destroy farmlands and crops if the payment is not made.


Sources like say Residents of several communities in Yabo LGA have received  threat from the suspected bandits called terrorist, which set a firm deadline for payment. Locals said the demand has left many families living in fear and uncertainty as they worry for their farms and livelihoods.

“We do not know what to do — we are farmers and this is our only source of income. If they burn the farms, we will lose everything,” said a resident who asked not to be named.

Community leaders have reportedly contacted local authorities seeking protection and urgent intervention. The situation remains tense as villagers prepare for the approaching deadline while hoping for a security response that can prevent violence and property destruction.
