Fear Over Renewed Night Attacks in Katsina,Zamfara-

Fear as Renewed Night Attacks Plunge Katsina and Zamfara

KATSINA & ZAMFARA, NORTHWEST NIGERIA — November 6, 2025:

Reports from Bakatsine and other local sources, indicate a series of violent overnight raids across multiple local government areas (LGAs) of Katsina and Zamfara States. Within few hours, heavily armed groups were reported to have struck several villages.

Confirmed Incidents
Katsina State – Malumfashi LGA, Dan Sarai Ward (Aljiyawa)

📍 Approx. 10:00 p.m., November 5, 2025
Armed terrorist invaded Aljiyawa,under the cover of darkness killing one person  and kidnapping several others.

Katsina State – Dutsin-Ma LGA, Makera Ward (Garangamawa)

📍 Approx. 8:30 p.m., November 5, 2025
Terrorist struck Garangamawa, shooting into the air and looting shops. Residents reported that mobile phones and valuables were seized at gunpoint. No confirmed deaths yet, but business owners say their livelihoods were destroyed in the process.Fear Over Renewed Night Attacks in Katsina,Zamfara-

Katsina State – Malumfashi LGA, Yammama Ward (Tsauni)

📍 Approx. 11:00 p.m., November 5, 2025
A late-night attack left one person dead while two others were kidnapped.

Zamfara State – Talata Mafara LGA, Morai Ward (Sado)

📍 Approx. 12:30 a.m., November 6, 2025
In Sado, two people have been reported injured and several others abducted. as terrorist attacked the community overnight. People have still missing as families account for them.

The attacks were reported to have occurred within a span of few hours.  showing a disturbing pattern of renewed, coordinated attacks. Residents say they are exhausted and disappointed at the government. As they are forced to live each night in fear of what might come next.

“People are tired and losing hope,” said one local monitor who spoke to Bakauye Times.
“We keep reporting, but help never arrives on time.”
