Terrorist kill one Katsina Injures Others Days After Peace Deal

Malumfashi, Katsina State —earlier this afternoon, armed terrorist popularly called bandits attacked Gidan Alhaji Barau village in Malumfashi Local Government Area, resulting in one death and one injury, local sources confirmed.
The assault comes just days after local authorities negotiated a peace agreement with bandits in Kakumi, intended to reduce violence in the area. Despite these efforts, the recent attack underscores the persistent security challenges facing rural communities in Katsina State.
Officials are urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to security forces. The state government has pledged to investigate the attack and take measures to protect vulnerable villages.
